Wilton Course 1 Graduate!

I had my last night of Wilton Course 1 cake decorating class last night. I graduated! (Even got a diploma to prove it!) For my last night I learned how to make roses and ended up with this cake...

I am excited to move on to course 2 which I am told involves LOTS of flowers.

Play Ball!

Saturday I met Bre and Tommy for a spring training game- Indians vs. Diamondbacks. There were some Navy parachute jumpers that opened up the game- it was pretty cool to see them land in the stadium...one of them with the flag. We got lawn seats and sprawled out for the game. I love me some lawn seats because you get maximum tanning potential with no shadows! There is just one more week of games left so we discussed hitting up one more game before the spring season ends.

Class #3

In my third cake decorating class I made cupcakes and used a technique called "striping". Where you line the decorating bag with colors to create stripes in your icing. I think it looks more like tie-dye, but I love how it looks! I think they turned out really cool.

Midnight Snack of Zantac

As I was getting ready for work this morning, I went to grab my purse in the living room. I noticed little blue things all over the living room floor and some torn up paper. It turns out that Moose decided to make a midnight snack out of my box of Cool Mint Zantac that I left on the coffee table. I had a box of 8 that I had opened and a box of 25 that was unopened. Moose went for the box of 25. I was able to find 9 pills around the floor of the living room along with part of the chewed up box. The remaining 16 pills? From Moose's minty breath, I think he consumed them. I called Banfield and they are calling poison control. Instead of going into work today, I am on Moose duty. If he starts to act up I have to take him to Banfield to get his stomach pumped, etc. What is Moose doing right now? Running around the coffee table in circles.

Things Done Over the Weekend...

• First Hot Stone Massage- OMG! I don't think I can ever go back to just a plain o'l massage...it was AMAZING!
• Read by the pool and tried to get a tan...Moose swam for a bit. Still a bit too cold for me, but I got in knee deep.
• Helped Cam with her car/burglary drama
• Went and saw The Young Victoria...LOVE! Am buying it when it comes out. Rupert Friend is mucho hoto.
• Made more icing for my decorating class on Tuesday night...we are doing cupcakes...yay!
• Went to late lunch/dinner at Pita Jungle...tried their glazed chicken pizza...mmm....

Cake Class

I am taking a Wilton Cake Decorating class at the Michael's near my house- it is Course 1 and tonight I got to decorate my first cake. Don't worry, I am not going to quit my day job...

Date Night

First twenty seconds reminds me of my relationship...classic. What? You don't want to get freaky with me and toothpaste all over my zits on my face???

Ryen Lucas

Yesterday I went to Maeghen's baby shower for her new baby boy- Ryen Lucas. He is SO cute! I got to hold him and he is an absolute angel. I left there with a very high temperature...a baby fever. I even tried to get Maeghen to tell me all of the bad things about new baby- no sleep, etc. but it just wouldn't bring my fever down. Pablo and I need to get crackin'.

Bre co-hosted the party and the decorations were so nice- you can see some of her photos and little anchors, RW (initials), and ducks. The other host made this really cool diaper wreath.

St. Patti's Party

Saturday night Pablo and I had a St. Patrick's Day party. We got a green keg and served some green grub. It was really fun. Only three people were "spirited" (aka drunk) enough to wear my decorations I put out...

Prizes!!!

I love getting prizes in the mail! My Mom and Dad sent Pablo and me a very sweet card (signed Mom and Dad...told Pablo that he is to call them that from now on :) ). They sent us a wedding planner/organizer and window coverings for our kitchen.

My friends Tara and Jereme sent us the cutest frame and a really nice card.

Thank you for my prizes...it really made my week! :)

Moose's Family

Today we met Moose's siblings at Chaparral Park. The pups recently turned 1 and we have been wanting to get together. After many changes in regards to the date, we finally picked a Saturday and stuck to it. Pablo had the day off and went with me. I am so glad that we went.

Moose was only one of two black dogs that came. The litter was made up of 4 black labs and 7 brown labs. 5 boys and 6 girls. Moose was the biggest puppy when I took him home and I am excited to say that he can still claim that title. We were there for about 2 hours playing ball and getting to know each other.

I have never been to Chaparral Park- it was really big (long) and quite nice. There was a crane in one of the lakes...pretty cool. Moose had a blast. We got home and he passed out for the night.

Bean #2

My sister finally posted a countdown on her blog, so I can finally tell you how I found out about Bean #2. I recieved this email at work:

My sister sent me a gift certificate to Borders to celebrate my engagement. I finally decided what to purchase and should be receiving it in 2-3 days! I think this book will be very helpful in my planning! :)
