First Pool Day...for Moose

Today was the first pool day of the year for Moose. Still too cold for mom and dad, but Moose is an oven. Literally, I could cook an egg with his body heat. He played catch with me for about an hour in the afternoon. I could tell that he missed swimming! :)

Full air shot...nice!

Decisions, Decisions

The first question everyone has asked me when I tell them that Pabs and I are engaged is- "when are you getting married?"...the 2nd- "where?". We are trying to decide between a Phoenix wedding and a destination wedding.

Today Pablo and I went to check out our first wedding venue to see if a Phoenix Wedding is in our future. We went to the Wright House in Mesa to see one of their sites. It has a Tuscan feel to it with 3 mini houses and an outside area with fountains and a gazebo. It was very pretty...The first mini house with the "guest book" table....if we did it here I think I would want the mini photo booth for peeps to take photos in for the guest book.
Patio area with fountains....tables are placed around this area.

I was hoping that once Pablo saw this venue he would decide for us- either he would not like it and want the destination route or he would love it and want Phoenix.

He walked away just as confused as I am. We have no idea what to do. I do have some brochures coming in the mail for 2 different destination locations. I am hoping those will push us in one direction.

I got some really pretty "congratulations" daisies from my friend Cam and tulips from co-workers. Cam always has lots of bling on- leave it to her to find flowers with "bling"...the daisys have crystals all over them. SO pretty! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Pablo and I made a yummy dinner of artichokes, filet minon, and king crab legs. He got these flowers for me. I think they look like a sunset! :)

My parents celebrate their 40th anniversary today!

Update on Movies

I have been WAITING for some good movies to come out. This summer was awful- no good movies. Then all of a sudden within the past few months there are a bunch of movies coming out that I want to see....so here is an update on my movie list:

1. Lovely Bones- loved the book and the movie was good! My friend that I went with wanted to see more of the "attack" scene....she didn't like how it skips over that. Not me, I can use my imagination....don't need to see all of the mean details on that one.

2. Extraordinary Measures- kept telling people that I saw "Extreme Measures". Filmed in Portland...made me homesick. Was okay.

3. Leap Year- still need to catch this one.

4. When in Rome- heard it sucked; am waiting for Netflix.

5. The Book of Eli- heard it sucked; am waiting for Netflix.

6. Dear John- OMG. Am now a Channing Tatum fan. I was ready with kleenex with this one, but Sparky didn't kill the main characters like he usually does.

7. The Young Victoria- I can't seem to find this movie playing near me :(

8. Crazy Heart- still gotta see this one

9. The Wolfman- Benicio Del Toro is what I call ugly-hot. Don't get me wrong, I think he is very HOT. But his teeth are all jacked up, his eyes are buggy, and he has giant caterpillar eye brows. And yet, he is still hot. He is ugly-hot. I liked this one.

10. Valentine's Day- I thought this movie was cute. Make fun of me if you want, but I bought into the sappy movie.

Orange You Glad...

I have really been feeling the color Orange for the past few months. It makes me feel all warm inside like when I drink iced chai. It also reminds me of the D Broncos which is always a plus in my book. It all started with my orange kitchen and then my orange Blackberry. Then Bre got me this really cute orange purse....

And since my nano mysteriously went missing after Pablo's Christmas Party, I have been wanting this...

Isn't it a beauty? It would make working out so much easier....it is really hard to move ones buns sans music. Try it. You will see....you just can't run as far if you don't have some tunes pushing you forward.

Update on Post:

Pabs got me my orange ipod for Valentine's Day! :)
