Betty

My Grammy, aka Betty, past away last week. I cannot put into words how my heart is full of sadness. My Grammy was one of the most kindest, humblest, funniest women I have ever known. I miss her dearly. Some things that will always remind me of her- Snoopy/Garfield pencils, Movies- Savannah Smiles and anything Shirley Temple, Frappaccino's, Toffifay candy (Never had it? It is YUMMY), BINGO, bath salts, corn chowder and chili- her recipes are the best, crossword puzzles, and mu-mu's.

Rubbing Elbows with Celebrities

One of my favorite blogs to watch in the blogging world is www.ljcfyi.com. I also follow her tweets and yesterday LJC mentioned she is going to PDX and wanted recommended eats. I twittered back for her to try Mothers....they have a mac and cheese of the day. It is super yummy. She responded to me and SHE ATE THERE! This is my second run in with LJC....I am getting a pretty big head. Believe me people- she is a big deal...move over John Mayer blog, LJC is all the talk with my peeps. By 7am this morning I had already bragged to 2 people about me rubbing elbows with blog celebrities. I don't know how I managed to fit my head through doors getting into work today....

Bunny Cup

I try and send Cal a prize for each holiday. For Easter I sent him some stickers, a bunny cup and a bunny plate. My sister sent me this photo of their Easter brunch with Cal, Papo, and his bunny cup.

Happy Easter!

Pablo and I spent Easter at the Thompson's. We pigged out on ham, Bre's homemade truffles, and JT's homemade hooch. Time was spent watching Jim Carrey marathon of movies and playing with Lucas. I even got Pablo to hold him...
Yes, Pablo is sweating. And, yes it is from having to hold a baby.
Since Easter is my favorite holiday, Bre always gets me a little treat. This year she gave me this cute porcelain bunny with truffles inside. I may or may not have had a truffle for breakfast today...

Pablo's Easter Basket

Every year I make a little basket for Pablo. This years Easter basket was very grown-up. Pomegranate vodka and Izzie sodas, 5 hour energy's in orange and berry, the basket staple- a chocolate bunny, kit-kats, and gum. I am pretty sure he is going to enjoy his basket.

4 Shots and Counting...

Couldn't sleep last night; was up at 2am watching LA Ink. I had to stop by Starbucks and get this bad boy with 4 shots to make it through my 1/2 day at work. Not sure if it will be enough...
