Walk

My mom and I like to walk the path behind their house when I visit. This morning it was snowing on our walk...it was beautiful!

Spoiled Rotten

Pabs spoils me! For Christmas this year he got me a Bolova watch, a Juicy perfume set, Ratatouille, a really nice coffee mug for work, and....

my beach bike!!!!!!!!! It is beautiful! It's even Broncos colors....this really bright cool orange with pale blue decals. It has flowers on it and flowers on the seat! I went for a late night ride....even Pabs had to try it out! :) If only planes let you carry on beach bikes...

Stocking Stuffers

Since I am leaving for Portland on Christmas Day, Pabs let me give the dogs one item each from their stockings today so I can see them play with their new toys.

Pecas got this red rope ball....she loves it more than her tennis ball!

Max got this squeaky doughnut with sprinkles...it is already destroyed. I think this was a toy destruction record with less than a minute life time....poor doughnut never stood a chance.

Busy Packing....

Usually I am fairly good at packing for a trip. My mom taught me at a young age how to roll my clothes up "like the flight attendant's do". But there is something about longer trips that throws me. I am going home for two weeks and am having the hardest time packing. How am I supposed to know what I will want to wear in a week and a half???

The Bean arrived yesterday around 3:30 p.m. He is 8 lbs and 4 oz and will answer to Calen!

Christmas Parties

This year we had two Christmas parties to go to. We usually only have Discount Tires at the Biltmore, but this year my work had a party too!

Work Friends

I was looking through my camera and noticed some photos of my old work friends and I at Old Brass Rail. I love my new job, but it's hard having "friends" because I am one of the "boss's". My only friend that I hang out with is my boss. I miss these ladies and our liquid lunches...

Pablo's a Guy's Guy

I have NO idea what to get Pabs for Christmas! I saw a t.v. commercial for a gift site where you answer questions and it comes up with a profile and gifts for the person. I filled out questions and found out, surprise surprise, that Pabs is a Guy's Guy. It then listed possible gifts....which none of them will work. I am stuck and have to hurry up and think of something!



Other options were "Guru Guy", "Tech Guy", "Proud Dad"....kinda funny!

For working graduation this year, I received a gift! This is what I picked...

Woken Up in the Middle of the Night...

Last night at 11:45pm I was woken up by my cell phone going off. I had a text message that read....

6 lbs 14 oz,
18 inches long :)

At first I was shocked...my sister had a girl?!?!

Then I was pissed off! They didn't call me???

Then I realized it was from a 503 number that I didn't know. I then had to get up and go through all of my numbers to see who it was. The number was not listed anywhere on my phone. I then had to think who else is pregnant that I know....Ashley, my old personal trainer.

I finally got to bed around 1am.

Christmas Card Rejects...

We Lost! :(

Amazon.com has a special "customer vote" offer each year. There are six rounds and in each round are three products for people to vote for. The one item out of the three that acquires the most votes has a special discount price. We voted in all six rounds and won 5 out of 6. Out of all of the winning votes 1,000 "random" customers are chosen to actually get the amazing deal. We lost. We were not chosen at all. Poor Pabs. Now he can't have the Christmas present he wants most....the Wii. Usually over $300, I had the chance to purchase this for him for $79 if I was the "chosen one". What might have been...

Christmas Plate

For a team builder, my co-workers and I went to As You Wish and painted pottery. I was going to make something for my nephew...but I don't know his name. Therefore, I decided to increase my number of Christmas decorations. We had so much fun that we are going back in two weeks! Yeah! More Christmas painting!!!

Chitmas Tree!

We bought our tree early this year....I couldn't wait! I think it's because I get to go home and see Baby Bean at Christmas....I am trying to make the time in between go as fast as possible. I got to put up my decorations that I got on sale last year. My Christmas decorations are slowly but surely growing year by year....really just ornaments. I need to focus more on other decor such as a wreath and some musical items for around the house. I did paint a plate at As You Wish that is Christmas themed....

Roadrunner Park

The dogs LOVE going to the park that is by the new house. I thought that they would be more enthralled with the ducks, but they aren't really that interested in them....they are more interested in the people. After we get home this is what they look like....

Desktop at Work: Oregon Coast

UOP has a policy that you are not to set photos to your desktop...you are supposed to have their logo on it. My boss and my boss's boss just set new photos to their desktop, so after 2 and a half years at UOP I am breaking the rules! I feel like such a rebel.

Christmas Budget

For the holidays, Pabs and I have decided to set a limit to how much we can spend on each other's Christmas gifts. We usually both go overboard with gifts and since funds are tight, we are trying to be good. We can spend $20 on each other. I have NO idea what to get him!!!

The Secret

I really want to read this book, The Secret. I first heard about it on Oprah, but did not get to watch the whole show. My friend Karen was telling me about it. It's supposed to be a positive way of thinking that tells the universe what to bring back to you...kind of like mind karma. Sounds interesting...I am thankful that I get full easily, only like to eat lettuce and that my metabolism is extremely high....

Netflix!

Pabs and I just joined Netflix! I was the main one voting to become a member. I pay for our Sirius radio each month, so I told Pabs it's only fair he pays for this since we have been wanting to join. He finally signed us up and claimed he isn't interested in ordering any movies. So, I added a bunch of movies to "Your Queue". At first I ordered a bunch of girly movies and then started to add some that I thought Pabs would like. Our movies arrived yesterday and Mr. "I don't care about Netflix" could hardly walk them into the house before he ripped them open to see what we got. I am sure he was disappointed with the first three: The Holiday, Catch and Release, and Season One of Alias. Tonight I am going to watch Catch and Release! Can't wait!

Pecas's Birthday!

Pecas turned one years old today. Just like Max, she had a puppy cake. Her cake was "Carob Chip", which I am told is a puppy-safe chocolate chip cake. Whatever it was, it seems to be delicious. The dogs finished their pieces in record time. Pecas even got some on her ears and was chewing on that ear hours later.
