I miss these striped buns...

Good and the Bad. The Very Embarrassingly Bad.

So in my blog I hope to share the good things and the bad that comes with my life. I was going to just skip over a recent happening for the simple fact that it is embarrassing and for the life of me I cannot explain or logic my way through the story. So here it is....

Last week I got off from work and was running to the bank for some cash to pay a credit card bill at Sears. (Don't worry- no clothes purchases made there.....only for appliances, television, etc.) I got to the bank and since I am short I have to take off my seat belt to reach the drive up ATM (don't laugh at other people's shortcomings...rude!). Then I left the bank and didn't put my seat belt back on since I was just driving a few yards to park at Sears. I decided to cut through the empty Sears parking lot as I went around to the other side of the building. At that point the sun was in my eyes and...


Yes. I hit a cement light pole in an empty parking lot. In fact one of the only cement light poles in said parking lot. I cannot explain it people. It just happened. I have been having to tell this story for the past week due to my bruises that came from the crash. Laugh all you want, pass it around to people....you won't be the only one. My aunt told me she shared it with 5 people at work. Thanks Anna Weeze.

Pi Phi Weekend

This weekend was filled with Pi Phi events up in Flagstaff. I am volunteering on AAC for the NAU girls. Saturday was their Fraternity Day of Service- they read book to kiddos at Barnes and Noble and created book plates for First Book.One of them even dressed as Cat in the Hat....cute!
Then Sunday was Scholarship Banquet. They invited their professors and gave them this little treat:
