Bye Bye Brunette

I have an appointment tomorrow to start the process of becoming a blonde...back to my roots! HA...okay, I know- bad joke. Some things that I will miss about being a brunette:

• how much darker I can make my eyebrows


• the way my green eyes stand out more


• the feeling that strangers regard me with a higher IQ (I know I make this one up, but I feel smarter as a brunette)


• I have noticed that I am not carded when I purchase Powerball tickets. YES! It is from the brown hair and not from any signs of wrinkling skin.

Anyway, I want to be a blonde bride and may need to grow up and not change my hair color every other month. We shall see....

(Side note- you can notice Calen's artwork in the back of my photo that I have hung up a work. It would be nice if I had some more to hang up...hint! hint!)

Confessions

Here are (some) of mine! ;)

1. Last Friday I noticed that one of the dogs vomited in the living room as I was leaving for work. I pretended that I didn't see it and Pablo had to clean it up.
2. I am worried that I am going to become a Bridezilla.
3. Sometimes I get really jealous and competitive with people. I have no idea why...and it makes me hate myself sometimes.
4. My first CD that I ever bought was Vanilla Ice.
5. I tell people that I am 5'1 but I am really 5 feet tall.
6. Sometimes at work I turn my interoffice IM to "in a meeting" and I complete a Sudoku puzzle.
7. My dream job is to be a stay at home mom. If I won the lottery I would retire and make Pablo continue to work because I have seen too many "How the Lottery Changed My Life"'s where they go bankrupt. I don't think Pablo knows this...
8. Sometimes I take change from our "vacation fund" jar and stop at Starbucks before work.
9. I secretly favor Moose more than Max and Pecas (wow....that one is mean)


I thought this would be somewhat fun, but really now just feel bad. Have anything that you would like to confess???

Wedding Visit

My mom and sister Beth came to visit this past weekend to do all things wedding. We went shopping for and purchased my wedding dress. (Sorry, promised Beth that I would not post any photos of the dress although I REALLY want to!) We also looked at 2 different wedding sites. I had such a fun time with them and was so sad to see them go!

I am in love with perfume...I seriously have like 10 bottles going at one time. A scent for every mood. A new one that I LOVE is SJC NYC. So yummy!

Walden Farms...zero calories, zero carbs, zero sugar...zero guilt. I love the thousand island dressing. It is a great way to add some flavor without cutting into my calorie count.

My new lamps that I bought for our bedroom from J&K Furniture. Got them both for 60 bucks.

And this guy...he my favorite by far.

Happy (Furry) Mothers Day!

Friday I came home to these beautiful flowers that my sister Amy and my nieces sent to me for Mother's Day. I am a mom to 3 furry, crazy babies that have a mind of their own and never seem to listen to a word that I say....but I love them just the same.

Chocolate Crinckes

I love to bake so even though I cannot eat anything yummy (baked goods-wise) on my diet, I made cookies for Pablo's store and my work. I took a recipe from one of my favorite blogs and made them last night. Chocolate Crincke Cookies; I added white chocolate chips to some of mine. I hear they are tasty.
