Wax House

This weekend I took a crafting class at Bre's new condo. In the class we created Halloween wax houses. They turned out really well...and melting the wax was a lot of fun....I got a little carried away with the wax.

Coincidences

My mom called me last week to tell me that my grandma wasn't doing so well. I hopped on a plane and met my mom in Denver to see her. Days later, my grandmother past away. She was an amazing woman. Sometimes I can smell something and it makes me think of her...like pink Dove bars of soap, cabbage, Miracle Whip, and banana bread. The day that she past away, my mom and I were talking about how this is now the 3rd grandparent I have lost in the month of October. Another weird thing- I was planning on running the Denver 1/2 marathon but backed out about a month ago because I still cannot run more than 2 miles....the marathon was this past weekend and here I am in Denver. These weird coincidences have been creeping me out.

Real Funny Guys....

This is what my office looked like when I came in this morning....
My co-workers swapped my office chair for this bad boy and tied a balloon with 30 on it. How sad....I am old.

The Big 3-0

Today we spent the day at Gallaghers for my b-day. We watched football and the Broncos gave me my birthday gift....killing the Raiders. Tommy even bought a new jersey with my day of birth on it....he is so sweet!
(that is him smiling....I kept taking photos and this is the one where he semi looks like he is cracking a grin)

My sister Amy even drove all the way from PDX to give me a birthday hug! (p.s. Bre took better photos so I will post those when I can)
