Cheers!

Yesterday Pabs and I went to Uncle Sam's to partake in their "Bailout" happy hour. We got a pitcher of beer and 2 appetizers for less than $10...my kind of deal!

Just Because

Pablo and I both got home from work early yesterday....a rarity. He ran to the grocery store to grab dinner and when he came home he had a bottle of wine that I like and a bunch of flowers. I asked him why he bought me flowers and he said, "Just because". He's so sweet!

Things done over the weekend

• helped Bre move....well I tried to, but we really just talked about where to hang pictures.


• went and saw "I Love You, Man"....hilarious!



• watched new HBO series "Ladies No. 1 Detective Agency" with Pabs


• bought a new couch!

Easter

I love Easter....it's my favorite holiday. I love dying eggs....the smell, the colors....love it. I loved waking up as a child and running to see what the bunny brought me. Searching for eggs all over the house. The fake grass in my basket. The chocolate Easter bunny....in my family we call it a cha-cha Eta bunny. (I think one of us couldn't pronounce it correctly so this name stuck.)

It has been awhile since I have dyed eggs....about 3 years. I loved doing it and now I love getting my lunch out at work and having a colorful egg to peel.

(Notice the orange and blue egg....had to show some love for my Broncos)

Jealous

My sister is in NYC and sent me a photo of cupcakes that she bought at Magnolia. I could really go for a red velvet cupcake right about now....

Hey, Wawen! I hope you have a fabulous birthday! Some of my favorite memories of Wawen are:

• playing Guess Who on a blanket in your front yard at the pink house
• going to watch your swim meets
• riding in the back of the Louise mobile and making faces at other people in their cars
• calling random names to people as they go down the alpine slide in Breckenridge
• Rustler's Roost...especially the last time you came to visit me with your mom. Anna Weeze got a little too excited while taking pictures.

Tug-O-War

Pecas and Max never played together with toys before Moose. For some reason, they both will play tug-o-war with Moose....strange.

Talk about a blind referee....Max isn't even paying attention!
