Wedding Visit

My mom and sister Beth came to visit this past weekend to do all things wedding. We went shopping for and purchased my wedding dress. (Sorry, promised Beth that I would not post any photos of the dress although I REALLY want to!) We also looked at 2 different wedding sites. I had such a fun time with them and was so sad to see them go!

I am in love with perfume...I seriously have like 10 bottles going at one time. A scent for every mood. A new one that I LOVE is SJC NYC. So yummy!

Walden Farms...zero calories, zero carbs, zero sugar...zero guilt. I love the thousand island dressing. It is a great way to add some flavor without cutting into my calorie count.

My new lamps that I bought for our bedroom from J&K Furniture. Got them both for 60 bucks.

And this guy...he my favorite by far.

Happy (Furry) Mothers Day!

Friday I came home to these beautiful flowers that my sister Amy and my nieces sent to me for Mother's Day. I am a mom to 3 furry, crazy babies that have a mind of their own and never seem to listen to a word that I say....but I love them just the same.

Chocolate Crinckes

I love to bake so even though I cannot eat anything yummy (baked goods-wise) on my diet, I made cookies for Pablo's store and my work. I took a recipe from one of my favorite blogs and made them last night. Chocolate Crincke Cookies; I added white chocolate chips to some of mine. I hear they are tasty.

Portraits

I am having a hard time dealing with the loss of my Grammy. (If you haven't been able to tell with my lack of posting.) I want to share some of the photos we took while she was in the hospital.

This shot is a self-portrait she took when trying to look at a photo that I took of her...

And this one is after we brushed her hair (which was one of her biggest concerns when I first saw her) and I added one of my little clips to the front of her hair.

Wynn and Encore

While I was in Vegas about a month ago, my aunt and I ventured over to the Wynn and Encore hotels during one of our hospital breaks. I fell in love with both hotels. They are how I would design a Vegas hotel if I were ever to open one. The colors are awesome and they are very Parisian. One of my favorite things were these inside garden walkways with giant flower balls hanging from twinkly trees. I want to get married under these trees, but can't find this as an option on their websites.

Oh, well...dreams can't always come true.

Babies...

A few weeks ago I noticed that a bird was building a nest under our patio roof in the backyard. Then one morning I noticed that a bird was sitting on the nest for a long period of time. I think we may have baby birds soon. Hopefully Moose does not get to them.
