Ben's Baptism

Today was Ben's baptism....and I am the fairy godmother. My mom was in charge of photos with my camera so this is all I got....
Ben was asleep when they sprinkled him with the holy water (still upset that I did not get to do any sprinkling of any kind....whatever.) He was startled when the water hit him and let out a cry and then in true Ben form decided to not sweat it and was happy. I think he has learned this from me, the fairy godmother.
He then got a tour of the church and had a lot of old people touch him. Again, I did not get to give him the tour. I guess these people don't understand my roll as the fairy godmother...

WA Wine

Today my Mom, Dad, Anna Weeze and I went wine tasting in Washington, about 20 minutes from where my parents live.

The vineyard is Bethany Vineyards and let me tell you it was good! We got to try about 10 different wines and there was no tasting fee. We even got to try a red wine in a mini chocolate cup.After the tasting we sat near the lake on their stone wall and had a picnic. It was a beautiful day and the vineyard is amazing!
Being the winos that we are- Richard joined their club and bought a box of wine so we could have some with our dinner that night. Unfortunately they don't sell in AZ otherwise I would be searching for a store here to get their wine.

Home for the Weekend

This weekend I am home in PDX area for Bennigan's baptism. I am the fairy godmother....I'm kinda a big deal. We got together at the French house for some food, hot tub and wine...that's how we roll....Love Cal's little striped pajamas....

Arcadia Farms

Cam took me to a new restaurant- Arcadia Farms. It is decorated so cute....there are different little houses that you sit in and it is decorated with a french farm feel. Plus, the food is really good! I had a spinach mushroom quiche that was yummy!
