Last night I was talking to my sister (www.orwoodwards.blogspot.com) and during the conversation she mentioned that our niece, Sofie, is obsessed with being a "fan" of things on Facebook. I had seen an update that Sofie was now a fan of "papas fritas" recently, but I guess the girl has gone overboard with the fanfare. It got me thinking “what I am a fan of” and instead of going overboard on Facebook, I thought I shall blog them....

Starbucks has a new Tazo Tea treat that I just had to try....London Fog. It is delish.

(That's it on the right...hellllooo!) I felt so guilty ordering it...cheating on my iced chai. I think iced chai and I might be breaking up....London Fog and I are pretty serious.

Hooked

I was introduced to a new game when I was on vacation. Michael Brines brought "The Gift Trap" to Black Butte and we got to play a few times....but I can't stop thinking about it. I want to play it ALL OF THE TIME! That is why, when I get off work today I am rushing straight over to Target and buying one.

I just wish I had it right now and could make people play with me at work....

Black Butte

Black Butte was a hoot and a holler. I had a great time with the family....we went on walks and saw some local wildlife, went swimming and hot tubbing, thanks to Michael Brines learned a new card game and am now obsessed with "The Gift Exchange" (must buy that game!), enjoyed chocolate peppermint martini's, finished a puzzle, laughed, bought some things for Cal and his mommy....and didn't want to leave!

My Day with Calen

Wednesday I got to spend the entire day with Cal. We had a fab time. I really wanted to dress him in overalls for our big day together, but his mom had already laid out something else. At breakfast he loved his nana's....he even made "mmm" sounds as he ate them!

He loved the fish that I brought him. He also delivered mail throughout the day....

Oops! Road block....how will he ever get to the Miller's house???

We also pressed our face up against some glass...

Lunch consisted of mashed orange stuff....we liked that. And crackers....yum!

I think Cal really knew how much I wanted to put those overalls on him, so he helped me out and leaked through his diaper during his afternoon nap. (That's what I tell myself....I like that better than me not putting the diaper on tight enough) So we got to change, just in time for Ellen! Cal loved dancing with Ellen during the beginning of the show and LOVED Akon. He really knows how to make Cal's little buns shake!

Surprise!

I have been in Portland since Tuesday....hanging out with my sister and Calen. I got to watch Calen on Wednesday (will post photos soon). My mom does not know that I am in Portland and today is the day that we get to surprise her! We are heading to Black Butte (http://www.blackbutteranch.com/) to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday! My aunt is also coming into town to surprise Lorie and celebrate. For her gift we all came up with things that remind us of Lorie...60 things in total. I cannot wait to surprise her and spend this week with my family. Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy New Year!

So I totally forgot to take photos New Years Eve. The only shots I got were of Bre "Vanna Whiting" the 18 year old champagne that we opened of Pablo's. Other than that, nada. I am not really doing resolutions this year, but one thing I want to do more of or get better at is TAKING MORE PHOTOS! I am constantly forgetting to snap away even when I have my camera on me. So the party was fun and the next morning we went to breakfast at Chompie's with Bre and Tommy. We then hit up the Dillards sale and I walked away with 2 new pairs of shoes that I am in love with.
