Easter Dinner

Easter is my favorite holiday. I usually get Pabs an Easter basket full of goodies, but this year decided to make him a fancy dinner. I had a half day on Friday and may be going somewhere Sunday so Friday was our little Easter celebration. I have always wanted to make beef wellington so I gave it a try. It turned out really yummy, but I learned some tricks to making it end up more pretty.

My car is broken. Yesterday it was barely moving and all jerky. I finally made it to Pabs work after an hour drive and 5 men trying to have me pull over so they could "help"...creepy! (Now I know why women go missing on the news) He had someone look at it and they said that it was just the hose. They replaced the hose and I drove off thinking Gretchen was alllll better. Then today I run to Staples on my lunch and my check engine light is back on! :(

New Pots and Palms

While my parents were in town they bought us some really cute pots from Target. Today Pabs and I got some plants for them. They look really nice around the pool...like a tropical oasis.

Argh!

I found the cutest pirate onesies for Calen...he wore one of them when he was in town for spring break...
One of my co-workers was nice enough to let us borrow some baby items...one of these is the pink bouncy chair behind Cal! :)

I finally found the last piece to my kitchen decor puzzle. I found a small crown for the square at the bottom of my collection. I was thinking of a crown or heart of some sort. I just love how it turned out!
